I have been teaching creative writing for almost twenty years. I was the leader of the Creative Writing degree programme at the University of Greenwich, London, and have a PhD in Creative Writing. I currently work as a mentor and manuscript assessor reader for The Literary Consultancy, the UK’s foremost manuscript reading service. I have been Arts Editor of Polari magazine and a Contributing Editor to Seymour Magazine. My short stories have been anthologised internationally. I now live in Lisbon.

Há cerca de 20 anos que ensino escrita criativa. Fui o diretor da Licenciatura em Escrita Criativa da Universidade de Greenwich, Londres, e tenho um doutoramento em Escrita Criativa. Actualmente sou mentor e consultor de manuscritos para The Literary Consultancy, a empresa de leitura de manuscritos mais importante do Reino Unido. Sou editor de Artes na revista Polari e escrevo para a revista Seymor.  Os meus contos foram publicados em antologias internacionais. Vivo em Lisboa.
